COWPU Presentation: Introduction to Eclipse
Last night I presented to the Central Oregon Web Professionals Usergroup (COWPU) on “Introduction to Eclipse”. It was a pretty hellacious trip – I left Portland at 3pm and pulled into the meeting room right at 6:30pm. And I drove back the same night!
The presentation was aimed for Eclipse beginners, but some of the attendees who use Eclipse regularly said they picked up some things. Oh and I talked about Flex Builder a lot. Can’t pass that one up as a stellar example of what Eclipse brings to the table. I also showed Tom Cornilliac the can’t-live-without SQL Prompt by RedGate. I hope that brings him some love.

Nat, great presentation, i’ve been using eclipse for almost two years and still got a lot out of your presentation. Thank you very much for making the long drive out to bend. Also thank you for hanging out and talking with the group afterwards.

Randy – It was a fun group, good presentation. Thanks for dinner! Next time I come over the mountains, it’ll have to be in conjunction with a trip to Smith Rocks for some climbing. Maybe the fall?
