For the past decade, our team here at Webapper has been delivering specialized software services focused on ColdFusion performance and stability. Up until now, we had only offered that expertise in the form of “retail” consulting services. This model works roughly like conventional medicine–wait until you’re sick, then call a doctor. Sure, docs can do [...]
We’re happy to announce another big notch in our Web application engineering belt–Steven Erat joined Webapper last month! Steven has spent the past decade of his life as a senior member of the ColdFusion engineering and support divisions at Allaire/Macromedia/Adobe. Most recently at Adobe he was an engineer on the Flex SDK team. Unless you’ve [...]
In our continuing quest for world domination, we’re continuing our torrid growth, and to help with that we’ve secured the services of yet another former Allaire-ian. The estimable Michael J. Punsky joined Webapper last month as our Director of Professional Services. And for those of you who’ve ever utilized our ColdFusion TNT services, you can [...]
It seems that a lot of people, including myself, are clamoring for Flash on the iPhone. I’m highly disappointed in Apple for claiming to have the “real internet” on the iPhone, but then they leave out the one standard that is on a good number of websites, and is pre-installed on a majority of new [...]
I’ve searched for months for an all-inclusive, low-cost backup solution. Here were my basic requirements:
Off-site datacenter with it’s own backup system, so my backups are backed-up.
Software that works, and can be easily scheduled.
Incremental backups.
Versioning.
Multiple jobs.
Support multiple machines… Servers, desktops and laptops.
I looked into most of the online backup services, and while the pricing seemed nice, [...]
Our march towards world domination continues. Expect our next conference giveaway t-shirts to read “All your base are belong to us”.
Seriously, though, we’re ecstatic to welcome Tyson Vanek to the team here at Webapper. He’s actually been a member of our extended “family” for many years, in that he was part of the [...]

Moving right along with our current string of big announcements–we’re excited to announce that Steve Nelson has joined Webapper as a Senior Web Architect. Among other things, Steve will be working alongside Nat Papovich in our development practice. In addition to creating the Fusebox framework in 1997, Steve has been a member and contributor in [...]
We noted yesterday on our blog that we’ve been busy, and this is certainly one of the biggest reasons. We couldn’t be more excited to announce that Fusium, Inc., will be merging into Webapper, effective immediately. Actually, the bulk of the move took place right after CFUnited. We’ll be taking over the Fusium brand/domain, key [...]
Greetings, all. It’s been uber-busy around here of late, which explains why we’ve been so quiet on the blogging front. Among other things, as you can see, we’ve been working on re-launching our blog, which has been in service since 2002. Most of you will probably recognize Ray Camden’s BlogCFC under the covers (thanks, Ray!), [...]
