Peter consistently provides exceptional support during customer onboardings. He is hyper responsive, turning tickets around like crazy. This month, he did some heavy lifting in our Large File Upload epic — we’re in final testing for a major CloudSee Drive release. Regardless of what he’s doing, Peter shows ownership, reliability, and a positive attitude that elevates the entire engineering team.

Henry is crushing it this year. As our resident SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test), he regularly takes on unfamiliar challenges & figures them out quickly. He works closely with our team to implement solutions & troubleshoot. Henry is dedicated to Quality Assurance, leading efforts in hosting support, documentation, and testing. His work improves our code quality & documentation — which strengthens our long-term efficiency.
Max Nguyen

Meet “Mr. CloudSee!” Max has helped us get CloudSee Drive through several major development initiatives. Most recently, Max was instrumental to our launch of CloudSee Drive with Fast Buckets. His steady, consistent work allows us to do more quickly.
Kevin Mai

Kevin made significant progress on one of our big SaaS consulting projects. Working closely with our client, he’s on top of communication and troubleshooting. He proactively identified potential blockers early and worked with the team to address them. He demonstrates ownership and accountability, building momentum.

This month, we celebrate the effort by Danny — she helped us complete our work for Full Glass Wines. She also did a huge amount of testing on CloudSee Drive and Fast Buckets (our SaaS products). She’s ramping up to manage sprints for our biggest SaaS customer, especially with our Webapper Agile processes. As if that wasn’t enough, she updates documentation for all these projects too.

Our newest team member Max Nguyen is making a dent in the universe. He’s been in the CloudSee Drive lab cranking out new features, as well as tidying up some technical debt in the project. He’s even been diving into our Fast Buckets engine, which we think is gonna be a major enhancement for Amazon S3 users.

One of our secret weapons is Kevin. We can whistle him in to meet any challenges. He stabilized a legacy application that he had barely touched before. He is the primary developer on one of our biggest SaaS projects, taking on last-minute feedback & an erratic workflow. We know how hard it is to have so much context switching – a real challenge!

And that’s on top of the other work that he already has providing outstanding architect & development for a variety of services clients. Among his many major project achievements are Webapper’s Managed Cloud Hosting Service, leading our development team for consulting projects, and spearheading our implementation of CloudSee Drive.

Although she could win it any month, our July Webby goes to Ann Nguyen. Ann has been heads-down in development on our biggest project for several months. In our Monday meetings, we have a discussion of weekend stories, and Ann’s are usually about tickets that she worked on. We didn’t mean Agile stories, Ann! For all her hard work and great team spirit, this award was a no brainer.

The June Webby goes to our taskmaster Joy Miller. She keeps trains on the rails as she resolves challenging situations almost every day. In addition to her professional approach, she’s actually a joy to work with (heh). Always looking for areas of permanent improvement via automation, Joy has built deep trust within the Webapper team as well as with our clients. She earned the award this month for overseeing perhaps the largest single development initiative we’ve ever tackled.

Our Webby Award for May goes to Peter Truong, Peter joined Webapper in December 2023. He hit the ground running, bringing a positive attitude and consistent and clear communication. In his first “test”, he tackled a large database migration project for a decade-old system. He has also been a large contributor to the success of our centralized CI/CD initiative.

Unlike most agile organizations, we run sprints for multiple companies: a scrum of scrums. Danny is taking a critical role at Webapper, keeping teams moving effectively, both internally and externally.
