Steven Nguyen has done it again… He’s been in the lab formulating our new product called Fast Buckets, a high performance add-on to Amazon S3. And that’s on top of the other work that he already has providing outstanding architect & development for a variety of services clients. Oh, and he mentors our development team and oversees the office. Rock star.
Kevin Mai

Kevin has consistently demonstrated a high level of commitment, maintaining our strong client relationships. His positive attitude and responsiveness to feedback have been valuable. Kevin’s quick responses to tickets creates a streamlined, effective feedback loop. As a result, we can implement changes efficiently and with impact. His proactive approach and dedication make him an outstanding team member and winner of this month’s Webby Award.

Oh, Henry! Our September star is Henry Tran. He has been instrumental in our documentation and hosting support for the past few months. He’s also created a new role within our CloudSee Drive development team: SDET – Software Development Engineer in Test! His effort using Selenium has been next-level.

The August Webby goes to Steven Nguyen… In many ways, Webapper’s cloud team is “The House That Steven Built.” He contributes to almost every project we do — Steven is our go-to guy. Among his many major project achievements are Webapper’s Managed Cloud Hosting Service, leading our development team for consulting projects, and spearheading our implementation of CloudSee Drive.

Although she could win it any month, our July Webby goes to Ann Nguyen. Ann has been heads-down in development on our biggest project for several months. In our Monday meetings, we have a discussion of weekend stories, and Ann’s are usually about tickets that she worked on. We didn’t mean Agile stories, Ann! For all her hard work and great team spirit, this award was a no brainer.
Joy Miller
June 2024
The June Webby goes to our taskmaster Joy Miller. She keeps trains on the rails as she resolves challenging situations almost every day. In addition to her professional approach, she’s actually a joy to work with (heh). Always looking for areas of permanent improvement via automation, Joy has built deep trust within the Webapper team as well as with our clients. She earned the award this month for overseeing perhaps the largest single development initiative we’ve ever tackled.
Peter Truong
May 2024
Our Webby Award for May goes to Peter Truong, Peter joined Webapper in December 2023. He hit the ground running, bringing a positive attitude and consistent and clear communication. In his first “test”, he tackled a large database migration project for a decade-old system. He has also been a large contributor to the success of our centralized CI/CD initiative.

Our inaugural Webby Award goes to Daniela Camargo, who has just earned her Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) certificate from Scrum Alliance. Unlike most agile organizations, we run sprints for multiple companies: a scrum of scrums. Danny is taking a critical role at Webapper, keeping teams moving effectively, both internally and externally.
