The PDA is Dead Long Live The PDA!

Filed under: Flex & Flash — Mike Brunt @ 12:00 am

Well PDA-Phone that is. I was musing the other day, thinking of all the news I keep reading about video, music, games etc on mobile devices; yes I know, this not exactly hot-news. But it brings to my mind a raging practicality, particularly when it pertains to video and playing games. Most current cell phone screens are much to small to get any kind of enjoyable experience as far as video goes. This is an area where making something smaller definitely
does not help.

So after feeling a bit of a has-been for having a Siemens SX56 PDA-Phone for the past two years; I suddenly thought that having a a 2 1/4 by 2 3/4 inch screen is not a bad thought after all. I was was amused by by muse-ing.

Now, about that 4GB Flash Memory from Samsung ;o).

  1. Steven, yes you make a good point re the PSP I think my thoughts were more directed to current cell-phone models. In reality it is difficult to see where all this will take us but it’s bloody exciting.
