Clustering ColdFusion MX On IBM Websphere

Filed under: ColdFusion — Mike Brunt @ 12:00 am

I have read several articles recently that point to the ascendancy of IBM Websphere over BEA Weblogic. Several factors are at play, not the least of which is IBM’’s overall financial strength and product-service base. Another is BEA’’s reliance on partnerships such as the one it has with HP. As IBM have gone further than other third-party companies in pushing ColdFusion, the ascending strength of Websphere should be good news for us for whom ColdFusion is a key product.

That was a long lead in to the main point of this entry, which is clustering ColdFusion MX on Websphere. This article shows how to configure a horizontally cloned environment using the Websphere Administrative Console.
