Bugzilla is a Perl based “Defect Tracking System” developed as an open-source project. It came out of the Mozilla project and is utilized there for bug tracking on that project. You can find full information here.

It is amazing to us how many sites are out there with broken links, the resulting errors can make a web site look so amateurish. This utility is good, has a small footprint and is really very fast for checking broken links.

Firstly, sorry for the quietness we are just very busy completely revamping our web site and dev-qa-prod environment. BBS’’s in many ways the precursor to our beloved commercial Internet became very adept at developing “communities” on line. This is a very interesting and thought provoking article by Joel Spolsky on just this subject.
